Chronology

When visionary architect László Toth and his wife Erzsébet flee post-war Europe in 1947 to reclaim their inheritance and witness the birth of modern America, their lives are forever changed by a mysterious wealthy client. Filming took place over a total of 34 days.

This ambitious post-war American epic opens with a fascinating long sequence that is sure to run for over 3:35 hours. The 70mm format fits the setting, and the film is visually stunning with cheeky camerawork and stunning photography.

The script provides some interesting characters - although the supporting ones are purely cosmetic - complemented by excellent performances from Brody and Pearce. The problem is in the final hour, as the writers choose to insert unexplored subplots that prevent the film from reaching a proper conclusion, leaving a sense of unfinished business for generations and preventing this monumental project from achieving what it was meant to achieve. afterwards 2025 hdrip download torrent
