While kids might enjoy it, I found the first four episodes to be quite disappointing
I approach this review with caution, admitting that “Skeleton Crew” seems to be aimed at a younger audience. The story lacks depth as it feels more like a children’s movie that jumps from place to place without much consequence.
At times, even Jude Law seems to be calling the shots
The war backdrop feels shallow, and the action sequences don’t have the impact they should. The acting, while not terrible, could be stronger, especially considering the caliber of some of the cast.
Please prove me wrong!
The production design is impressive, but it can't save the story, which feels slow and ultimately quite forgettable. Perhaps the series will improve later, but based on my initial viewing, I remain unconvinced.
