Chronology

Two religious young women are drawn into a cat-and-mouse game in a strange man's home. Sophie Thatcher and Chloe East in Heretic, plus other modern women who break the horror game. Sophie Thatcher and Chloe East were raised Mormon, so were able to provide valuable insight into the religion when making the film. The end credits indicate that no generative AI was used in the making of the film.

The Air That I Breathe Written by Albert Hammond and Mike Hazlewood Arranged and directed by John Scott Starring The Hollies. 1. Hugh Grant is a tour de force – God, I love that man! What a career he's had, and here he's absolutely at the top of his game.

2. The two female leads also give superb performances. 3. As the cynic 💩 that I am, I found myself surprisingly aligned with a lot of the controversial points in the film (I couldn’t help but feel seen by Hugh Grant’s character, I didn’t see that coming haha).

I probably wouldn’t recommend it if you’re very religious… unless you’re open to it?

5. 6. The film is unevenly paced and falters in parts – cutting 20-30 minutes could have made a huge difference, as all the tension it builds up starts to fade halfway through. 7.
