I watched this with my parents who know nothing about the League universe.
But my parents were pleasantly surprised
I've been playing League since 2010 so my opinion might be a little biased. They said it was a little clear at times that this show is more aimed at a young adult audience. A little use of pop songs and the villain being a little over the top with the mustache. But overall they enjoyed the first 3 episodes and wouldn't mind watching the rest at their own pace.
As for me
I loved it! It was everything I hoped for and more. Riot's art department was always top notch. And with Fortiche's track record I knew he had very little room to go wrong.
All in all, this show comes together very well
Knowing Riot's art department, it has an excellent story, well written characters, and a world rich in lore to pull from. And it showcases some of the best talent Riot has to offer. 9/10: Amazing.
